Cold Imbue鈥揧ou have got to be honest, Ice Imbue was a bit of a disappointment for you. 95% of all capped players are ice immune, rendering Cold imbue pretty useless. It isn't without it's strengths though, it's useful for jobbing when you get those Hunters and Thieves that have just been ressed with Oblation, and are unbuffed without Fire Shield or Holy Spell, then the Ice Imbue comes into it's own. You also used it as your main Imbue for PvE. For the amount of SP it costs however, it was worth it so you deleveled this skill(SRO Gold), but don't let your put you off, just because you may don't find it useful, maybe you will.


Ice Wall - Ice Wall is great for PvP, you mainly use it against nukers. It prevents them from using KD so you are free to hit them as you please. Then when their Snow Shield and Castle Shield has ran out, you have 45 seconds to kill them. Ice Shield comes into it's own in this situation, because most S/S Nukers will spam KD until they have Snow Shield again, but obviously putting up Ice Wall will prevent this, leave them open for you to 2-3 hit them. This skill is also useful against Int Warlocks. Because Warlocks debuffs can't penetrate through Ice Wall, it renders their debuffs useless. To add insult to injury, they can't cancel the wall because they have no phy attack.

Bard is all about MP, speed and damage absorbing. At level(Silkroad powerleveling) 80, you will get around 50% MP increase when Harp is equipped. Your speed with Swing March will be at 90%. That is the fastest speed buff in the game minus the Drug of Typhoon that costs around 200k(Silkroad Gold) for 30 minutes. Nukes skills is among the fastest and the cooldown is fast too. So, what is your role? What can you contribute? You can called it The 3 elements. MP, Speed and Tambours.


First of all, Bard is a support character. Get it in your mind. Dont whine about Bards not hitting much and so on. Bard should help others heal their MP. One will ask, "I got pots, why should I get a bard to heal my MP?". For all information, wizards, clerics and even warrior need MP to keep using/ spamming their skills(SRO Gold) in party. And the 15 seconds pot time is not helping because they will use more MP than pots can heal. That is why Bard is important. To make the party do what they do without running out of MP. Bard is also good at damage support. It may not do much good in party grinding, but in group pvp, it will shine.


Secondly, the speed. The faster your tanker move, the more mobs they can lure. More mobs means more kills for wizards. More kills means more exp/sxp. And to have speed for all is a great thing when you are in pvp/ guild war/ fortress war/ jobbing.


Thirdly, tambours. Bard have 2 main tambours and hit march. Guard tambour, mana tambour and hit march. At level 80, Guard tambour will absorb 38% damage from physical attacks and mana tambour will absorb magical attacks. Hit march will increase your party attack rating. At level 80, it will increase it for 79. Higher attack rating will increase the overall damage done from you and the party. Since so many people underestimate the power of tambours, let me give a simple example and calculation. Imagine you are a wizard with 8K HP. A person come and hit you for 10K damage and you are dead. With tambour, it will absorb 38% of the damage. At the end, you will get hit for only 6.2K and you are still alive and able to hit that person. The same concept can be use when you are in a grinding party.


Battle Bard. Your nukes is almost as good as chinese nukers. But the casting time is extremely fast. You will need 3 main nukes and 1 extra absolute damage skill. You will most probably 2 or 3 shots anyone without extra buffs or block. Nuke away when you have time in between healing mp for your party. Keep your tambour/ dance up at all time and you will notice how fun it is to be a Bard.

Heuksal builds need to keep one very important thing in mind. The amount of HP the Target has. S/S Ints have 13k HP. Int Spears have 17k HP. All Str builds except Glaivers have 26k HP. Glaivers have 31k HP. Vital Increasing Warriors have 35k HP.

You can deal more damage than they can in a shorter amount of time and you can outlast them in a serious battle. This build can farm white monsters or orange if you have good weapon, forget about 1 hit 1 kill. You don't need that and will not give you faster exp/sp as you kill green monsters. You can farm same level(Silkroad powerleveling) mobs too easy with no problem, but you need to have your skills first. so I don't suggest farming at 19 or 23 that's not good.


In addition, about farming chinese monsters high levels you will find a lot of botters espcially Pure int nukers that will always ks you and make you a tanker for them that's will turn farming into shitty thing. You need to know where to find no botter area and good spawn at the same time.


But for me farming at soilders, warriors, ongs, and sunsung is the best thre places to farm(SRO Gold). There is no botters at them, have very good spawn rate, have good drops rate, good alchemy drops, your mastery level will be suitable to start farming. You can choose where to farm from these 3 places or farm some time in each that's will be fun.

Arrow of Delay: keep it at level 3 to access heat shot, a good skill to use, efficient mp cost which makes it spammable. Basically it decreases the movement speed of the enemy. Loading Restrain: this is a skill that in my opinion, is only good for pvp, so leave it alone till later on when you can actualy do decent pvp around level 45 or so.


Heat Shot: Learn it till level 3, it is a good early game skill for its burst damage, but very mp taxing. Energy Charge: max this skill asap, gives you 80hp/12mp per skill level. Basically this is why you can grind till lvl 35 without much downtime.


Spiracle Shock shot: learn this skill till lvl 3, it knockback the mob and stuns it for a certain duration depending on the skill level. Not efficient for grinding due to mp cost and cooldown, good for saving lives including your own. And We would provide you the cheapest Rappelz Rupees with the fastest delivery.


Virulent Arrow: Basically quite useless outfield, because it does damage over 60s. Nobody will want to kill a mob in 60s unless its a boss. So keep it at level 3 first to access your final skill freezing arrow.


Freezing Arrow: Max it at level 3, again a skill used mostly for saving lives due to its cooldown. However, please note that upon freezing, there is a chance to release the mob from its frozen state following a hit.


With all these skills in place, you're free to max your skills as you deem fit, only proceed to Jlvl35 when you feel like it, because right now thunderbolt revelation which seems like an awesome skill is not working, and mental concentration which adds 45% crit ratio is mainly for boss killing and pvp.

It's a big difference to STR and you should consider that and use glavie and when you use 1:1 and have more str in your set than int this will give you big difference too. You must use glavie too, put if you get phy and mag close to each other you have the choice to use spear.


3. If you search about good crit weapon you will go spear, you can find crit 12, 14, or more in spear and find good crit glavie is harder, but off course glavie will do more damge from crits. It's only to have more times to crit.


4. If you use skills(SRO Gold) with low phy attack, it's better to use spear. You will see the difference as the attack have more mag from imbue (100%), but when you use high phy attack skill glavie will be more effective. I don't mean have both spear and glavie and switch them during battle I mean choose weapon depends on your playing style.


5. If you wanna really confuse your enemies use glavie. They will say that you are the biggest noob in planet when they see a glavier nuking and they will not understand when they see you deal great damge more than pure str and tank better than him with snow shield some people love to put others in puzzle. Also some people love the spear look and others love glavie look. Don't forget the ppl mood.
